Publisher Terms and Content Rules

• Only registered publishing houses that hold digital distribution rights to the books they upload may apply for a Publisher Life account.
• Individual authors who own their own works must apply as Creators, not publishers.
• You must ensure your organization holds the necessary rights before uploading any title. Uploading a book for which you do not hold digital rights is a breach of these terms and may result in immediate removal and account suspension.
• Publisher Life accounts are invite-only. Activation requires approval by the DOIRGHO team and acceptance of these terms via the invite flow.

Publishers retain all copyright and rights they hold in the works they upload. DOIRGHO does not claim ownership of any uploaded content.

By uploading a work through Publisher Life, you grant DOIRGHO a non-exclusive, revocable license to host, store, display, preview, distribute to entitled readers, index, recommend, and promote the work on or in connection with DOIRGHO.

This license includes the right to generate thumbnails, preview excerpts, metadata, and search index entries. It does not include any right to sub-license, sell, or commercially exploit the work beyond distribution to DOIRGHO users.

• All uploaded content must comply with applicable Bangladeshi law, including the Copyright Act 2000 (amended 2005) and the Digital Security Act.
• Content that is defamatory, obscene, or that incites hatred based on religion, ethnicity, gender, or political affiliation is not permitted.
• Publisher metadata (title, author name, description, cover image) must accurately represent the uploaded work. Misleading metadata is grounds for immediate removal.
• Cover images must be the publisher's own cover or one for which the publisher holds reproduction rights. Stock images used without a license are not permitted.
• DOIRGHO reserves the right to request proof of digital rights for any uploaded title at any time.

All works submitted through Publisher Life enter a review queue. The DOIRGHO team will review each submission for compliance with content rules and metadata accuracy before approving it for sale.

• Review typically takes 2–5 business days. You will be notified by email when a decision is made.
• If a submission is rejected, a note explaining the reason will be provided. You may revise and resubmit after addressing the issues raised.
• Published works may be re-reviewed at any time if a complaint or rights dispute is received.
• DOIRGHO may unpublish a work immediately and without prior notice if a credible copyright claim or legal notice is received. We will notify you as soon as practicable.

DOIRGHO deducts a platform fee from each sale of a publisher work. The remaining revenue is remitted to the publisher. The exact fee percentage is communicated in your Publisher Life dashboard and may be updated with 30 days' notice.

• Payouts are processed via bKash, Nagad, or bank transfer. The payout method and schedule are configured in your Publisher Life account settings.
• A minimum payout threshold applies. Accumulated earnings below the threshold will roll over to the next payout cycle.
• DOIRGHO is not responsible for delays caused by the publisher providing incorrect payment details.
• Taxes applicable to publisher income under Bangladeshi law are the publisher's responsibility.

Publishers may unpublish their own works at any time through the Publisher Life dashboard, subject to the following:

• Works that have existing purchases may not be fully deleted without DOIRGHO admin approval, as readers retain access rights to content they have paid for.
• DOIRGHO may suspend a publisher account if: (a) a pattern of rights violations is detected, (b) fraudulent activity is suspected, (c) applicable law requires it, or (d) these terms are materially breached.
• On suspension, active listings are hidden from the public store. Existing reader access to purchased titles is maintained.
• Suspended publishers may appeal by contacting legal@doirgho.com.
