Decode Yourself
Decode Yourself is a practical self-discovery and career book for students, fresh graduates and young professionals who want to choose their direction with confidence instead of guesswork.
Most self-help books focus on working harder. This book starts one step earlier. It helps you understand who you are before you decide what to work toward. At its core is the DECODE Method, a six-step process: doubt the labels you have carried for years, experiment in real life, collect evidence about yourself, observe the patterns in that evidence, decide with evidence, and then execute and keep evolving.
The book is organised into eight parts and 46 short chapters. It covers self-awareness, career choice, discipline, pressure, risk, rejection, relationships, character and building systems that last. It includes practical career guidance on choosing a field, getting hired and succeeding in your first ninety days in a new role. Throughout, research boxes and charts draw on published studies and national data, with all sources listed at the back. “Myth vs. Reality” and “Savage Truth” sections offer honest perspectives on common beliefs about success.
The final part is a complete workbook, with solo experiments, a self-interview and a 30-day action plan. Readers take the Decode Score self-assessment before starting the book and again after thirty days to measure their progress.
The author, Mahib Sadman, is the Founder and CEO of YouthBees, a career mentor and a certified corporate trainer. He has delivered webinars, university seminars and corporate training sessions on career development across Bangladesh, and the book draws on his own experience of building YouthBees from the ground up.
Decode Yourself is written in clear, simple language and designed to be used, not just read.
